About Us The primary mission of Old Homestead Company is to provide individuals, libraries and organizations interested in Texas history and/or genealogy an opportunity to purchase accurate and original publications at reasonable prices. While the focus of our publication program is Lavaca County, Texas, OHC also maintains an inventory of materials on other geographic areas in Texas as well as fictionalized versions of Texas history.
