This book is a biography of Colonel Amasa Turner a participant in the Texas Revolution. Beginning in San Jacinto, the Turner family left their own footprints at Galveston, on Cedar Bayou, in the gold fields of California, on the cattle trails from Corpus Christi, Texas to Chicago Illinois and on the battlefields of the Civil War.
